Multimed adherence packaging

Blister Packaging

Your daily medications sealed into a dated, disposable weekly blister — so you can see at a glance what you've taken.

Weekly multi-dose blister packaging

A blister pack is a method of packaging medication where each dose is placed in a small plastic bubble backed by a sheet of foil, organized by day — usually a week at a time. When it's time to take your medication, you simply push the pill through the foil. That way you can always see which doses you've already taken.

For many people of all ages, taking more than one medication can be managed simply by using blister packs. Blister packing is affordable, convenient, portable and discreet.

How your pack is made

Your blister packs are cold-seal packs, which use a strong adhesive rather than a heating element to seal the foil to the plastic blister — so your medications are sealed and protected from the elements. Each tablet or capsule and its description is listed on the pack, and your name is written on every blister for easy identification. You'll receive a free blister opener, a small device that pierces the foil and captures the tablets. Each pack is disposable and can go in the recycling bin at the end of the week.

Checked three times

Each blister pack goes through a three-stage checking process: first by the technician or pharmacist who makes the pack, and then cross-checked against your medication chart by two pharmacists at two separate stages. That's what ensures your pack contains no errors. Every pack is dispensed and sealed in a pharmaceutical environment by trained technicians and pharmacists, following all necessary hygiene procedures including clean equipment and clean gloves.

What we need from you

To produce four weeks of blister packs we need to dispense one month's worth of medication from your prescriptions. If we can't dispense something — an expired prescription, or no repeats left — we'll contact you immediately and give you options. The most common option is an owing script: we dispense and pack the medication, and you send us a new prescription.

Patients get the warm feeling of old-fashioned customer care with the assurance of modern medical expertise.
